First off, we have the story which has a poor family, the Kim's, con their way into becoming the servants of a rich family, the Parks. But their easy life gets complicated when their deception is threatened with exposure. I thought the story was very complex and thrilling with it's themes and kept me guessing as it progressed.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were portrayed in an interesting way because even though what the Kim's are doing is wrong they aren't made out to be villains and you care for them after seeing their situation.

As for the film's visuals I thought, I thought the cinematography and direction were fantastic and really bring you into both worlds of the two families and has some nice visual elements that on a second viewing will enhance the experience of viewing the film. Moving onto the tone which offers a mix of compelling drama, suspenseful moments and even it's comedic parts that don't break the flow and feel natural to the film. I thought the soundtrack does a great job at hooking you in to the deeper and thought provoking scenes that the story provides.

I give Parasite a score of 10/10

Weathering With You

First off, we have the story which has a high-school boy who has run away to Tokyo befriends a girl who appears to be able to manipulate the weather. I thought the story was very enjoyable and the main weather concept really hooked me in as well as the relationship between the two leads.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought in terms of the voice acting brought across all the emotions needed for what Hina and Hodoka go through and the chemistry between them brings you in.

As for the film's visuals I thought, I thought the cinematography was phenominal especially during the weather manipulation scenes. Additionally the way the film shows the scope of the weather during those scenes when it comes to colour makes a lot of scenes look like wallpaper screens. Moving onto the tone of the film which manged to convey the dramatic moments while also giving the romantic and funny parts time to shine to  care for the characters. I thought the soundtrack filled out the rest of the film nicely with the choices of tracks.

I give Weathering With You a score of 10/10

Jojo Rabbit

First off, we have the story which has a a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic.  I thought the story was very enjoyable with a lot of heartfelt and surprisingly funny moments considering the subject matter involved.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were well written and very compelling to watch especially Johannes or "Jojo" as he is apart of the Hitler Youth and the arc he goes on makes you route for him. The rest of the cast also did a superb job and the chemistry between a lot of them flowed nicely throughout the story.

As for the film's visuals I thought, I thought the cinematography was fantastic especially to capture the time period. I also thought the colour pallet which unusual because of the setting manages to work despite the reality of what is going on. Moving onto the tone of the film which was captured perfectly from the comedic aspects to the grim reality checks it shows you about the war and what some people went through to get by. I thought the soundtrack of the film suited the type of film it was going for however in terms of the tracks it was very mixed.

I give Jojo Rabbit a score of 9/10
