Soon after watching Kill Bill: Volume 1, I decided to watch Kill Bill: Volume 2, the second part of the two films directed by Quinton Tarantino.
First off we have the story which overall I thought was a good conclusion to the first film and The Bride's story of revenge.
Next we have the characters which overall I thought were still interesting with The Bride continuing her fight against the assassination squad and Bill. The other members of the assassination squad that were shown were interesting in this movie for their takedowns.
Now we have the action throughout which even though there was less than the last but for what there was, it was very enjoyable to watch and again was well directed like the the last film. The tone of the movie was still an interesting take on spaghetti western films by having influences from those types of films but changing them to fit an American style. As for the visuals they were also recognizable of a Tarantino movie using recognizable shots that I have talked about in my last two reviews of Tarantino movies. Another recognizable feature is of shots of feet which is intriguing as it is used in a lot of his films. There is also the corpse POV shot as well which is used. The soundtrack of the film continued to fit the tone of being a spaghetti western film. The other tracks used in the film were catchy and fitting of Tarantino's style.
Overall I thought this film was an enjoyable conclusion to the Kill Bill movies, the story arc was done well over the films and concluded well.
I give Kill Bill: Volume 2 a score of 8/10
