Ant-Man And The Wasp

For the tenth film of the month we have Ant-Man And The Wasp

First off, we have the story which has Scott Lang balances being both a Super Hero and a father, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past. I thought the story was very entertaining and the themes it focused on was great to see.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were mostly very good in terms of acting and the characters they were playing. The highlights were Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man as well as Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp and their interaction were fun. There was also Michael Douglas as Hank Pym was a surprise as well. The villains however were mixed with some working and some not.

As for the film's visuals I thought  it looked really good with the use of the bright colours that reflected the brighter nature of the film compared to some of the previous films. Now we have the action which I thought was fun and entertaining especially because of how the suits work and how they used them to their best use. Moving onto the tone of the film which I thought felt like a usual MCU film should have with a mix of drama as well as the comedic aspects. I thought the soundtrack of the film was ok and it worked pretty well for what it is usually like.

Overall, I thought this film was a very fun film because of how the themes and heroes character relationships and motivations drive the film which was very entertaining to see play out till the end.

I give Ant-Man And The Wasp a score of 7/10
