For the nineteenth film of the month we have The Gunfighter

First off, we have the story which has notorious gunfighter Jimmy Ringo as he rides into town to find his true love, who doesn't want to see him. He hasn't come looking for trouble, but trouble finds him around every corner. I thought the story was

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were very interesting especially the main character of Ringo who has changed his ways and is looking to settle down but is contently reminded of his past actions and his title.

As for the film's visuals I thought it looked really good and some of the imagery suited the film well. Now we have the action which was thrilling as well as tense as you waited to see what would happen with Ringo being in town. Moving onto the tone of the film which I thought did a good job at building the tension and who would make the first move.

Overall, I thought this film was an excellent film and interpretation of a western film with a great story and main character behind that you cared for after hearing about his life and his family situation.

I give The Gunfighter a score of 8/10
