For the seventeenth film of the month we have Blue Is The Warmest Colour

First off, we have the story which has Adèle who's life is changed when she meets Emma, a young woman with blue hair, who will allow her to discover desire and to assert herself as a woman and as an adult. In front of others, Adèle grows, seeks herself, loses herself, and ultimately finds herself through love and loss. I thought the story was very entertaining and seeing the relationship between the main leads was great to see.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were fantastic and their relationship being the main focus of the film was fulfilling from start to finish from both the good times and the bad and the acting really shows that.

As for the film's visuals I thought the film looked stunning with some great composition of shots as well as the lighting and colours the film uses through points in the film to get across the emotions felt. Moving onto the tone of the film which I could describe as real as the relationship between Adele and Emma built up as well as the hard times they went through. I thought the soundtrack of the film was alright at best throughout the film.

Overall, I thought this film was amazing from the very start and even though the run time was long that didn't matter to me as it allowed the relationship between the two main leads to flourish and build up as they grew up and started doing what they wanted in life.

I give Blue Is The Warmest Colour a score of 10/10
