For the fourteenth film of the month we have Dressed To Kill

First off, we have the story which has Sherlock Holmes as he sets out to discover why a trio of murderous villains, including a dangerously attractive female, are desperate to obtain three unassuming and inexpensive little music boxes. I thought the story was very enjoyable with a good mystery to build it up.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were very good and in the final film as Sherlock and Watson gave great performances with a mixture of comedy and problem solving to create some great chemistry.

As for the film's visuals I thought they were very consistent throughout to make a very nice looking crime film with a hint of noir. Moving onto the tone of the film which captured the genres these films have been using from the start: mystery, crime and thriller which it has become easy to do. I thought the soundtrack of the film was ok enough to work with the story.

Overall, I thought this film was for the final of the fourteen films with Rathbone and Bruce in as the iconic duo was a great send off with an intriguing story with elements from the past films that make it an enjoyable final film for them in the series.

I give Dressed To Kill a score of 8/10
