Monty Python and the Holy Grail

For the twenty-first film of the month we have Monty Python and the Holy Grail

First off, we have the story which has King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table embark on a surreal, low-budget search for the Holy Grail, encountering many, very silly obstacles. I thought the story was very entertaining as well as funny from start to finish.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought in terms of acting were great and especially since the cast had multiple parts to play and the majority of them were memorable and fun to watch.

As for the film's visuals I thought they were very good and the set design for the whole film and captured the feel of Arthurian times. The use of animation was unique and worked well into the story to make scenes funnier. Moving onto the tone of the film which embraced the comedy whether it was the jokes or the situations the characters found themselves in it all worked. I thought the soundtrack of the film suited the style the film was going for when needed.

Overall, I thought this film was a fun and enjoyable experience and I am glad to have finally seen this film with it's bonkers story with characters that you'll remember once it's over and jokes that hit every time without fail.

I give Monty Python and the Holy Grail a score of 9/10
