For the fifteenth film of the month we have To Kill A Mockingbird
First off, we have the story which has Atticus Finch, a lawyer in the Depression-era South, defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge, and his children against prejudice. I thought the story
was emotional as well as powerful because of the themes and message shown in the film.
Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were interesting mostly from the kids as it is their perspective you see everything from and the acting was very good from the kids as well as Atticus by Gregory Peck.
As for the film's visuals I thought the cinematography was simple but very effective when needed especially during the later parts of the film. Moving onto the tone of the film which was great because of the way tension was used to build up certain scenes as well as having some drama that still relates today. I thought the soundtrack of the film was used well at building tension when needed but there were also tracks that added to the setting.
Overall, I thought this film was a very interesting film with a simple but emotional tale that I enjoyed because of the way the themes were used and that they still apply in today's society years later which is why it is important to see and experience.
I give To Kill A Mockingbird a score of 9/10
