Central Intelligence

First off, we have the story which has a mild-mannered accountant is lured into the world of international espionage after he reunites with an old pal through Facebook. I thought the story was fun in places although generic in terms of the plot points when it comes to a spy film.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were generic in terms of their execution but the acting between Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson added some chemistry so you could find something likeable about them.

As for the film's visuals I thought the cinematography throughout was consistent and some of the sequences were done well to suit this type of film. Now we have the action which could have done better with some of the choices they made with the sequences. Moving onto the tone of the film with it's comedic aspects with a few of the jokes working for me but a vast majority fell flat. I thought the soundtrack of the film was forgettable with the choices they made.

I give Central Intelligence a score of 5/10
