For the thirty-sixth film of the month we have The Fugitive
First off, we have the story which has Dr. Richard Kimble, unjustly accused of murdering his wife and must find the real killer while being the target of a nationwide manhunt lead by a seasoned US Marshall. I thought the story
was very entertaining and the story kept the thrills high from start to finish as the chase progressed.
Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were great in terms of acting with both Harrison Ford as Richard Kimble who is determined to figure out the truth of the murder and to find the true killer, you then feel for his cause and is very likeable. There is also Tommy Lee Jones as Samuel Gerard who is after Kimble to bring him back in under suspicion.
As for the film's visuals I thought they were very consistent over the course of the film as well as the good cinematography throughout. Now we have the action which was both thrilling and entertaining and added to the excitement of the chase for Kimble. Moving onto the tone of the film which i thought was good and building up the mystery of the film as Kimble is chased trying to find out the truth of the murder. I thought the soundtrack of the film which had a good mix of action based tracks and ones that added to the suspense and intrigue of the film.
Overall, I thought this film was an entertaining film with a compelling story and a main character you wanted to see get to the bottom of what was going on and you wanted to see what the end result would be.
I give The Fugitive a score of 8/10
