Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1

First off we have the story which overall I thought was good and did well to setup the second part and the final film in the franchise. I enjoyed the way the story progressed throughout the film to reach it's conclusion. 

Next we have the characters which overall I thought were good even with the dark events that the characters experience. However the characters continued to develop further as the film went on. 

Now we have the action throughout the movie which was done well for what action there was. The wand fights are done well just like every film. With the first major action scene with the characters trying to fool the Death Eaters being one standout. Moving onto the tone of the movie which I thought was done really well and felt like a Harry Potter film. There was also the more dark tone that has been added to the films as they have progressed which made the film better. As for the visuals they have also gotten better over the movies and again the darker one of the movie adds to the visuals when needed. The soundtrack of the film was done really well to make it feel like a Harry Potter film 

Overall I thought this film was enjoyable and a good setup film for the final part. 

I give Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 a score of 6/10
