I decided to watch Drive

First off we have the story which follows a getaway driver who gets involved in a botched job which endangers his life and as well as his neighbour and her son which he has grown attached too I thought the story was very entertaining and there wasn't a dull moment.

Next we have the characters which overall I thought were good with the The Driver being the standout character because of his personality as well as how well acted he was by Ryan Gosling and as the film progresses he got better. His chemistry with his neighbour and her son came across very well. 

Now we have the action which when it kicks in was entertaining and thrilling with the car chases being the highlight of the action. As for the visuals I thought the film looked really good with the colours used in the film standing out with this film being a neo-noir film the style has been thought about clearly with certain colours and the usage of light and shadow used effectively. Moving onto the tone of the movie which was another great part of the movie as it was fun but when the action kicks in and the violence becomes apart of it the tone got better. Also for being a neo-noir getaway film the tone had to be right and it was. I thought the soundtrack of the film was one of the standout things of the movie with each track fitting the film perfectly and added to the style the film went for and the scenes they were used in. 

Overall I thought this film was excellent with a solid story, characters, soundtrack and action. This is one film that would definitely go back to and is now one of my personal favourites.
