Twelve Monkeys

I decided to watch Twelve Monkeys

First off we have the story which has James Cole having to go back o 1996 to find a the origin to a virus in order to make a cure back in his own time. I thought the story was very interesting and for a time travel story was one that was easy to understand compared to others. 

Next we have the characters which overall I thought were good for what they were needed for. The acting was great however and the cast performed their characters very well. The main character of James was an interesting character and his arc throughout the film was interesting. 

Now we have the action which for what there was in the film was alright, there were use d for what they needed for. As for the visuals I thought the film looked really good in terms of the setting of the film and in terms of the action it was good as well. Moving onto the tone of the movie which in terms of the future scenes had a very unsettling tone because of the way the future the was setup with the virus. The rest of the movies tone in the past was tense. I thought the soundtrack of the film fit the film very well and each track was used to effect when needed. 

Overall I thought this film was an enjoyable one with a compelling story and a good cast behind it as well, the action was good when needed and the whole film had a very good look and tone about it that gave the film an interesting feel. 

I give Twelve Monkeys a score of 7/10
