We now have The Usual Suspects

First off, we have the story which has one survivor of a large explosion from the result of a heist which was lead by a mysterious man called Keyser Soze. I thought the story was intriguing and the way the narrative is used makes the film even better than if it was linear.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were interesting and all worked well together with their different personalities that clash but as a team they kept the film going well.

Now we have the action which when needed was thrilling and fun to see how they carried out the mission with the boat. As for the visuals I thought the film had some outstanding cinematography to add to the neo-noir genre that the film was going for with lots of shadows and bright lighting. Moving onto the tone of the film which I thought was really good at being an action film when needed but the mystery aspects of finding out Soze's identity was also something extra to solve. I thought the soundtrack of the film was used to great effect to add to the tension in certain scenes throughout.

Overall, I thought this film was entertaining to watch with a intriguing story that was carried by some cool characters and along with the visuals and action made it even more thrilling to watch.

I give The Usual Suspects a score of 8/10
