Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines

I decided to watch Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines

First off, we have the story which has Skynet sending the T-X back in time to kill Resistance members, John Connor and his future wife although the Resistance sends one to protect them and I found it to be somewhat enjoyable in places.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were less than impressive with the majority of the acting not helping. The only real standout was Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-850 which helps John.

Now we have the action which I thought was ok and the one standout sequence was the crane chase through the city towards the beginning of the film. As for the visuals I thought the film in terms of the action camerawork was ok but the CGI in places stood out badly which is surprising considering how good the CGI looked in the previous film. The rest of the film did have some decent shots placed throughout and the editing was good. Moving onto the tone of the film which kept the same fast paced, high action that the last films did which is at least consistent. I thought the soundtrack of the film wasn't that great with none of the tracks standing out besides the use of the main theme,

Overall, I thought this film was not as good as the past ones but as a film sepreate film it was ok with a decent story and good action although the acting was less than impressive.

I give Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines a score of 6/10
