The next film I decided to watch we have Judge Dredd 

First off, we have the story which has one of the most famous street judges Joseph Dredd convicted for a crime for something he didn't do by an escaped convict. I thought the story was very weak and also felt very generic with some of its plot points.

Next, we have the characters which overall, I thought were one of the weakest aspects of the film mostly because of the acting especially from the leads of Sylvester Stallone as Joseph Dredd and Armand Assante as Rico, the villain of the film..

Now we have the action which was very over the top which yes fit the film but personally could have done with less of it. As for the visuals I thought the film in terms of the setting and the design looked good for the time the film came out. Moving onto the tone of the film which tries to be serious and hardcore but comes off as unintentionally funny because of the acting and direction choices. I thought the soundtrack of the film was alright in places and added to certain moments but also was overbearing in places as well. 

Overall, I thought this film was very lackluster and disappointing for an science fiction film with a weak story, weak characters, over the top action and a twisted tone.

I give Judge Dredd a score of 4/10
