I decided to watch Mad Max: Fury Road

First off we have the story which overall I thought was a very good thrill ride, the world of Mad max is still interesting to know even with the length in release dates between the third and fourth film. Although the length of the film felt a bit too long but nothing that affected the film for me.

Next we have the characters which overall I thought were entertaining. Tom Hardy as Max was a nice switch for the character, but there were elements of Max's character from the previous films that were familiar, the second main character of Furiosa was also a nice inclusion to the cast because of the performance and depth.

Now we have the action throughout the movie which I thoroughly enjoyed, the chase was filled with great action sequences and brings back the high action and explosions that the first films had. Along with the action, the stunts were also pulled off really well to match the action. The tone of the movie was great, a fun action movie that returns it to what the tone was like in the first two films. As for the visuals they were some of the best parts of the movie as they fit the action scenes which made the action more intense and thrilling. The camerawork for this movie was great as it was used in different ways such as closeups for the characters feelings. different angles to catch the action. The soundtrack of the film was fitting or an action film as it had tracks that fit the scenes that needed them.

Overall I thought this film was an enthralling thrill ride of a film that contains the essence of a Mad Max film and does well to continue the legacy of the original trilogy.

I give Mad Max: Fury Road a score of 9/10
