Transformers: Age of Extinction

I have decided to watch Transformers: Age of Extinction

First off we have the story which overall I thought was a letdown. Even though there were new characters the part about them having their lives changed because of the Transformers just felt like a repeat of the first film and the only differences is the part with the Autobots being hunted was slightly interesting.

Next we have the characters which overall I thought were bring and a letdown to the movie which meant i didn't care about them during the movie and any conflict they were involved in. 

Now we have the action throughout the movie which involving the Transformers were obviously the standouts and too a decent standouts from the previous films. The tone of the movie was good and felt like a Transformers film: giant robots and big explosions. With the correct tone it aloud me to enjoy the movie even more. As for the visuals they were done well especially in some of the action scenes involving the Transformers. The camerawork during the action scenes added to how good they were. The soundtrack of the film was alright, nothing special, it had music tracks that worked in Transformers films but no standouts in terms of music there was nothing special.

Overall I thought this film was good it had good action but because of a letdown in story and characters it brought the film down for me and finally it is not close to being the best of the Transformers franchise. 

I give Transformers: Age of Extinction a score of 6/10
