Doctor Strange

I decided to watch Doctor Strange, a film I have been looking forward to watching. 

First off we have the story which overall I thought was fun and enjoyable to watch. The world and mythos of this movie was interesting to learn about and the introduction of magic to the Marvel universe is a new and fresh inclusion.

Next we have the characters which overall I thought were great with Doctor Steven Strange himself played by the amazing actor Benedict Cumberbatch who delievers an excellent performance and his development throughout the movie was done well as starting from arrogant surgeon to wielder of magic.

Now we have the action throughout the movie which was great, the use of the magic involved such as spells being created to some of the characters shifting the world around was done in a way that shows off how different these characters fight to how some of the  other Avengers fight.The tone of the movie was fun and enjoyable it had that feeling of a Marvel movie but with how different this one is compared to the others it was a nice change. As for the visuals they were amazing, the creative use of the magic and world were shown unlike anything I have seen before and shows off the weirdness of this film.The camerawork during some of these scenes as well as during the action was also really well done. The soundtrack of the film was good as well, it had tracks that fit the action but even in emotional scenes there was a track that fit well to. It also had the tracks that clearly state it is a Marvel movie. 

Overall I thought this film was amazing, what this film brought to the table exceeded my expectations after hearing very good things about it and if Doctor Strange joins the Avengers it will be a nice inclusion.

I give Doctor Strange a score of 9/10
