You Only Live Twice

I decided to watch You Only Live Twice

First off we have the story where Bond looks into the disappearance of American and Russian spacecraft where he comes face to face with SPECTRE leader Blofeld which overall I thought was great and a well needed return after the disappointment of the last film 

Next we have the characters which overall I thought were great this time around, Bond was back on form for this film, the side characters like Aki and Tanaka for the film were great as well and enjoyed their performances. The villain of the film was interesting and threatening once again. 

Now we have the action which I thought was great, the scenes involving the auto-gyro and what it could do was entertaining and looked good. Additionally the final action sequence with the ninjas and SPECTRE was an amazing spectacle because of the set and camerawork. As for the visuals I thought they looked very good especially the location shots and action sequences which were one of the best parts of the movie. Moving onto the tone of the movie which again was on form for the film and was very needed after the last film. I thought the soundtrack of the film was very good and worked very well for the film as each track fit the scene it was needed for. 

Overall I thought this film was a great thrill ride with great characters and action sequences, it was also a well needed return to form for the James Bond movies after Thunderball
